So, you ask, what would happen if I set out to write a kids’ novel that someone like myself could thoroughly enjoy reading too? Well, perhaps you weren’t actually wondering that. But I’m here to tell you the result of such an endeavor is my book, The Victory of Garen Lashar!
It’s a full-length adventure tale that can be read individually or shared as a whole family. It’s clean, it’s uplifting, it’s thought-provoking, humorous, fun, and satisfying. Sometimes, that’s exactly the sort of book that even adults are lacking. I, myself, find it hard to weed through the myriad of options out there to land on something that I can feel good about reading and recommending to others. I figure ages nine to eighteen will be most engaged with this story, but plenty of others can embark on the journey as well.
Since this is my first published book, here’s my first post on this site. What logic! It only makes sense, right? (Well, unless I’d started a while back, posting about my writing journey. But, no, this is what you get. I’m sure you’ll live.) I’m simply here to announce my first book and to invite you to come back to check for updates that will be coming soon. I hope to provide fun information and content connected to the story. Of course, what I call ‘fun,’ others might dub merely ‘interesting.’ We’re all unique, ya know. Either way, check back in soon.
Oh! And do keep your eyes peeled, because I’m hoping to publish more. Whether another kids’ book comes next or something I wrote a while back for older teens and adults, I’m not certain yet. Either way, you can expect my stories to be wholesome and imaginative, peppered with fascinating ideas, facts, and topics. At least, I find them fascinating. What can I say? Shrug. Have fun!
And I don’t plan to stick to one genre or one age range, so that’s sure to keep you on your toes. I hope you don’t limit yourself to one genre either. I’ve categorized The Victory of Garen Lashar as science fiction, but I don’t think it really feels like it. You might be pleasantly surprised when you try something new.
Well, that’s all for now. Look for updates. See ya later!
